Terms of Service

By using this website ("Service") you are agreeing to be bound by the following terms and conditions ("Terms of Service") with Secret Skin Studio - ABN 16 233 002 326.

Cold & Flu policy

Please do not attend your appointment if you have cold or flu symptoms. If you are unable to attend your appointment due to illness, please call Elizabeth on 0412878511 as soon as possible to re-schedule.

Please do not bring additional friends or family, including children to your booking.

Please delay any bookings for one week post international travel or cruise.

Policy for last minute cancellation

If you do not show up for your booking without contacting Secret Skin Studio, 100% of the service cost will be forfeited including gift vouchers. If a booking is cancelled within 4 hours of the appointment time, 100% of the service cost will be forfeited including gift vouchers.

Secret Skin Studio offers a bespoke personalised service where the time is allocated specifically to you. Please notify us in advance if you are unable to attend your booking so we can offer the time to someone on our waiting list. Re-schedule of bookings without payment penalty will be up to the discretion of Secret Skin Studio.

Some services will require a deposit at booking. If you fail to attend your booking without a minimum of 4 hours notice, the booking deposit will be forfeited.

Account Terms

This page contains the most current version of the Terms of Service.

• Accounts registered by "bots" or other automated methods are not permitted and will be removed.
  
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs from your account.
  
• You agree that Secret Skin Studio can send you booking reminders, relevant information and other marketing via phone, SMS and/or email. You can opt out of any marketing.
  
• You must not post or submit false information to the Service.
  
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password. Secret Skin Studio cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage from your failure to comply with this security obligation.
  
• You must not use the Service for any illegal or unauthorised purpose. You must not use this Service to violate any laws in your jurisdiction, including but not limited to copyright laws.
  
• Secret Skin Studio has the right to suspend or terminate your account, refuse any current or future use of the Service, or any other Secret Skin Studio service, for any reason.
  
• Violation of any of the terms or general conditions may result in the termination of your Account.
  
• In the event that you breach these Terms of Service, or act in a way that puts the Service or any individual at risk, Secret Skin Studio has the right to suspend or terminate your account and refuse any and all current or future use of the Service, or any other Secret Skin Studio service. Such termination of the Service will result in the deactivation of your Account.
  

Cancellation Rates

• Less than 12 hours notice before the booking will forfeit 50% of the booking fee.

A cancellation does not automatically refund payment of products or services. Any amount not subject to the cancellation fee, is credited towards your account balance at Secret Skin Studio.

 

Refund Policy

Products and Services provided are subject to Australian Consumer Law. If for any reason you feel the product is not fit for purpose, damaged prior to delivery or faulty please email me at elizabeth@secretskinstudio.com.au. Please contact Secret Skin Studio within a reasonable time frame of purchase and provide proof of purchase. We will endeavour to resolve any problems within 2 weeks of your contact. Return postage is the responsibility of the purchaser. If goods are returned via post we recommend registered post or tracking to avoid goods being lost in transit. If for any circumstances products are on backorder or unable to be supplied the customer will have the option of an alternative or refund.

Skincare and Cosmetic products are unable to be returned if you simply change your mind and have been opened or used. Secret Skin Studio may not be able to offer a refund or exchange on unopened/unused products if you have “changed your mind”. 

 Gift Vouchers are valid for 4 months from date of purchase and may not be exchanged for cash.

 Delivery Policy Products and gift vouchers only available for purchase within Australia.

Products for personal use only – maximum of 3 of each product per order. Products available for on-line purchase free delivery within 8km of Ferny Grove or the following suburbs: Ferny Grove, Keperra, Upper Kedron, Arana Hills, Grovely, The Gap, Mitchelton, Everton Hills. Free click & collect is also available from the studio.

Expected delivery time frame for these areas is 3 working days. Please advise a suitable place to leave goods if you are not home. If goods are unavailable delivery may take longer. If the product is on backorder or unable to be supplied the customer may choose between an alternative product or refund.

For other areas within Australia an additional postage fee of $10 per 5 products will be added to your account and charged prior to posting. This is for standard Australia Post delivery. If you require registered post or insurance, additional fees apply as per the Australia Post Website.   Not all products are available for postage. Please see individual product descriptions or contact the studio for details.

Modifications to Services and Prices

• Secret Skin Studio reserves the right at any time and from time to time to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the Service (or any part thereof) with or without notice.
  
• Prices of all Services are subject to change with or without notice.
  
• Secret Skin Studio shall not be liable to you or to any third party for any modification, price change, suspension or discontinuance of the Service.
  

Vouchers

• Vouchers are non-refundable and cannot be redeemed for cash.
• Unused vouchers can be transferred between clients.
• Purchases containing multiple vouchers can only be used by a single person and cannot be split between people.
• Vouchers are valid for 18 months from the date of purchase.

Fees

• Credit card security is implemented using secure SSL encryption on all transactions and processed using a secure, trusted, PCI compliant payment gateway and used by Secret Skin Studio for payment processing.
  
• All fees and transactions are in Australian Dollars.
  

General Conditions

• Your use of this website is at your sole risk. The website is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
  
• You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell or exploit any portion of the website, use of the website, or access to the website without the express written permission by Secret Skin Studio.
  
• Verbal, physical, written or other abuse (including threats of abuse or retribution) of any Secret Skin Studio customer, employee, member, staff, officer or external contractor will result in immediate account termination.
  
• You must not transmit any worms or viruses or any code of a destructive nature.
  
• You understand that Secret Skin Studio uses third party vendors and hosting partners to provide the necessary hardware, software, networking, storage, and related technology required to run.
  
• Secret Skin Studio does not warrant that (i) the website will meet your specific requirements, (ii) the website will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free, (iii) the results that may be obtained from the use of the website will be accurate or reliable, (iv) the quality of any products, websites, information, or other material purchased or obtained by you through the website will meet your expectations, and (v) any errors in the website will be corrected.
  
• You expressly understand and agree that Secret Skin Studio shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary damages, including but not limited to, damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data or other intangible losses (even if Secret Skin Studio has been advised of the possibility of such damages), resulting from: (i) the use or the inability to use the website; (ii) the cost of procurement of substitute goods and services resulting from any goods, data, information or services purchased or obtained or messages received or transactions entered into through or from the website; (iii) unauthorised access to or alteration of your transmissions or data; (iv) statements or conduct of any third party on the website; (v) or any other matter relating to the website.
  
• The failure of Secret Skin Studio to exercise or enforce any right or provision of the Terms of website shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.
  
• You expressly understand and agree that Secret Skin Studio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential loss, loss or corruption of data or exemplary damages, including but not limited to loss resulting from the use or the inability to use the website or the Service.
